Since hazel eyes are not very easy to find, it’s necessary to choose on the right platter of colors, liners and mascara for a maximum appeal. Brown, pink, gold and even black can transform a green-eyed beauty into a dazzling diva. Eye Shadow
Green-eyed beauties always have an advantage, when it comes to pepping up their eyes with color. Hazel eyes are unique and a perfect eye shadow is all that it takes to jazz up their look dramatically. Neutral shades are the best bet for hazel eyes, as they add both definition and softness. Brown, pink, cream, beige, and taupe are other great eye shadow options for hazel eyes. Shades of purple like lilac, lavender, violet, plum, and eggplant can also do wonders to enhance the look of the eyes. Apart from this, accentuate the eyes with glitter effect. Shimmer works especially well on hazel eyes. The rich golden hues of sunflower, mustard, saffron, wheat and sand are the best struck deal. A note of caution – stay away from experimenting with shades of blue!
Eyeliner
It’s important to choose the right shade of eyeliner for hazel eyes. While dark brown color eye liners are just perfect for hazel eyes, black and gray are also fine and look good on green eyes. For a more dramatized look, you can try wearing green liners. Stay away from blue eyeliners, as they may ruin your look any day. Match the shade of the liner with the attire that you are going to wear for the day and watch the eyeballs go rolling.

Mascara
Choosing the right mascara will make all the difference to the way you look. For green eyes, one can try dull brown mascara and black gold mascara. Stay away from black and transparent mascara as they might look garish. Also, these ruin the beauty and charm of the green eyes. In case you want to over dramatize the eyes, you can experiment with green or blue mascara. However, shades of blue and green are best avoided for hazel eyes.
How To Apply Eye Makeup For Hazel Eyes
Before you begin with your make up, apply primer on the eyelids for a smooth finish. A primer will even out the rough surfaces and make your color last longer.
Decide on the eye shadow first, before you start on with your makeup. Begin with the darkest shade and apply it to the crease of your lid, starting from the inner corner and moving towards the outer edge. Use the lighter shade on the brow bone or the area below the eyebrow. Remember, merge the shades well.
Pick out your preferred eyeliner and begin by applying it from the inner corner of the eye towards the outer corner, along the top eyelid. You can also use an eye or kohl pencil for desired results. Shimmer liner looks good on green eyes and can be used to accentuate your looks, if you are applying a neutral shade.
Add curls to your lashes by using an eyelash curler. This will heighten the impact of your peepers. Remember to use smudge proof mascara, for a long lasting effect.

They have such a wide color range from turqouise to chartreuse to forest green to bright light green and on and on.

These tips are designed for the magority of green eyes, but of course there are exceptions to every rule. My best advice is to try every color that you’re interested in. You’ll be surprised what looks good.

Choosing An Eyeshadow

These colors are some of the most popular for green eyes.

Try different browns, especially chocolate tones. Browns and dark greens with copper or gold highlights are also a great choice.

Apricots and taupes are good choices for highlighters.

Dark purples, plums and metallics work too. Coppers and golds will make a really glamorous evening look for makeup tips for green eyes. I personally really like the way deep purples look with dark green eyes.

Colors To Avoid

When you’re learning makeup tips for green eyes, it also helps to know what colors you might want to avoid.

First up, blues. Any color of blue doesn’t do green eyes justice. I would recommend avoiding light blues, dark blues and even some colors (purples or pinks) with blue undertones.

Pinks are also a hard color to judge. Some can look really, really good and others can look really, really bad. This is usually a matter of trial and error.

Silvers are not a good choice either. Leave them for the blue eyes.

Eyeliner Colors

Unless you really like black eyeliner, it’s usually a color to avoid. Try steely grays or chocolate browns. Use gold or white to open up the eye if your eyes are small.

The Rule Of Thumb

A good rule of thumb when choosing a color for makeup tips for green eyes is to focus on warm colors and avoid cool colors.

Like I said, there are exceptions to every rule, but this should provide a nearly fail-safe method for choosing eyeshadow colors to bring out the beauty of your green eyes.

The Application

How you apply your eyeshadow depends how many colors you’re wearing and what the occasion is.

For basic every day wear, here’s what you do.

1. Apply a highlighter like crystalline to the entire eye from the bottom of the crease to the eyebrow.

2. Use a taupe or apricot next and apply it to the whole eyelid and blend it just above the crease with the crystalline.

3. Then use your third color (chocolate brown, dark green, copper, etc.) and apply it one of two ways:

a. Apply it from the middle of your eyelid from the eyelash to just above the crease. Blend it well. You can even blend it under the lower lashes for a more dramatic look.

b. Apply it from the inner corner of your eyelid and sweep it out to the outer corner of your eye. It will get thicker the further out you go. Blend well.

4. Apply eyeliner and mascara as you normally would.

Since I invented the first mascara have spent dozens of years and it seems that everything that could build to improve it, have done. But no! Manufacturers, year after year, impressed with their new know-how. One invents a new brush, the other changing the composition of the product.

No matter what results you get with your new mascara – extra long, thick eyelashes and beautiful curves. Putting mascara must follow some certain rules.

Steps for beautiful lashes
1. Wear mascara in two layers. At first you make the shape and length you want. In the second fix this beauty.
2. At first paint the base of the lashes horizontally, with zig- zag movements. If you use mascara on lashes extra rich, this move will split and make them thicker at the root. If you use mascara for extra length, the more traffic will comb and separate lashes well. Following the second layer, as always, from the root to the tips.
3. As you remove the brush from the tube to turn slightly. So it gets less air and mascara will be retained for longer without drying.
4. Remember, with a dry paper towel to wipe the mouth of the tube Mascara to remove residual fortunes. Otherwise the lid will not close very well and your mascara will spoil quickly.
5. Even if you’re very careful, the ophthalmologists recommend changing the mascara every 2-3 months. During use, accumulate different types of bacteria and germs that can cause irritation or inflammation of the eyes.

Breakfast Makeup
- If you are blonde, basically start with a make-up to a neutral hue. Skip over small amount of loose powder. In their eyes, put a shade iridized in earthy tones and black mascara anyway, to emphasize your eyes. Just a natural blush hue, peach or pink – beige, to give health a color on your face and then lips a little lip-gloss, a natural or neutral color.

- If you are brunette, you need a make-up that gives brightness to your face. Therefore, use pink shades or makeup to opalescent. For eyes, choose a shade of brown or simply highlight your eyes with a dark brown pencil and, of course, black mascara on the lashes. For cheeks, use a blush on an orange hue and natural lip gloss wear a light coral lipstick.

Evening Makeup
- If you’re blonde, wear makeup in natural color and top for a brighter effect, apply an iridescent powder. The blush may be more intense than the morning, but always natural shades. Avoid colored fuchsia and purple in the cheeks. Shadow and pen down for the evening makeup. The shades of shadow can be purple, lilac, pale green, gold and beige -brown, depending on the color of your eyes. Put two coats of mascara for a striking look, and finally, wear a bright lipstick in shades of fuchsia, burgundy or red.

- For you, the brunettes, it is important to accentuate the look. Initially, wear make-up on color that does not differ from your physical. Choose a shade of black, combined with a metallic olive green or gold and complete the makeup with a black eye pencil or eye-liner and black mascara. The accented eyes require insipid lip. Therefore, choose a colorless shiny lip-gloss or matte lipsticks in natural color. The blush will still have to put in your cheekbones, a small quantity in a natural shade of pink- beige.
