Eye Shadow
Green-eyed beauties always have an advantage, when it comes to pepping up their eyes with color. Hazel eyes are unique and a perfect eye shadow is all that it takes to jazz up their look dramatically. Neutral shades are the best bet for hazel eyes, as they add both definition and softness. Brown, pink, cream, beige, and taupe are other great eye shadow options for hazel eyes. Shades of purple like lilac, lavender, violet, plum, and eggplant can also do wonders to enhance the look of the eyes. Apart from this, accentuate the eyes with glitter effect. Shimmer works especially well on hazel eyes. The rich golden hues of sunflower, mustard, saffron, wheat and sand are the best struck deal. A note of caution – stay away from experimenting with shades of blue!
Eyeliner
It’s important to choose the right shade of eyeliner for hazel eyes. While dark brown color eye liners are just perfect for hazel eyes, black and gray are also fine and look good on green eyes. For a more dramatized look, you can try wearing green liners. Stay away from blue eyeliners, as they may ruin your look any day. Match the shade of the liner with the attire that you are going to wear for the day and watch the eyeballs go rolling.

Mascara
Choosing the right mascara will make all the difference to the way you look. For green eyes, one can try dull brown mascara and black gold mascara. Stay away from black and transparent mascara as they might look garish. Also, these ruin the beauty and charm of the green eyes. In case you want to over dramatize the eyes, you can experiment with green or blue mascara. However, shades of blue and green are best avoided for hazel eyes.
How To Apply Eye Makeup For Hazel Eyes
Before you begin with your make up, apply primer on the eyelids for a smooth finish. A primer will even out the rough surfaces and make your color last longer.
Decide on the eye shadow first, before you start on with your makeup. Begin with the darkest shade and apply it to the crease of your lid, starting from the inner corner and moving towards the outer edge. Use the lighter shade on the brow bone or the area below the eyebrow. Remember, merge the shades well.
Pick out your preferred eyeliner and begin by applying it from the inner corner of the eye towards the outer corner, along the top eyelid. You can also use an eye or kohl pencil for desired results. Shimmer liner looks good on green eyes and can be used to accentuate your looks, if you are applying a neutral shade.
Add curls to your lashes by using an eyelash curler. This will heighten the impact of your peepers. Remember to use smudge proof mascara, for a long lasting effect.

Makeup Tips For Brown Eyes

When one says brown eyes, its not just the brown colour, in fact, there are lots of shades within the colour brown, and many people have different shades of brown as their eye colour. It is a normal scheme for colours that the colours which are of opposite shades will be complementary to each other and will brighten one and the other. So according, your makeup will also differ, which depends on what shade of brown are your eyes. This will especially determine the shade of your eye shadow that you apply. You can apply a lighter shade of brown to give the ligtening effect and you can also add a bit of shimmer. The purple tone will work the best if you have the brown eyes with a tinge of yellow to them.

There is a general rule that one must follow that light colours will bring out and make things highlight and more larger. On the other hand, the darker shades have just the opposite effect. So if you have dark chocolate eyes then you can enhance them with the help of the dark eyeliner and a light eye shadow, with a black mascara and a little bit of pale pink eye shadow along with the flushed cheeks will give the best effect. Put a red or cherry coloured lip stick to give the focus.

Dark eyes and that too of brown shade are such an asset to have since one can do and experiment a number of things with them. They are a darling feature to have. One can play with the shades of colour eyeliners and not worry about a thing. Dark brown eyes look stunning lined in shades of plum mix with a pale mauve shadow, aubergine mix with a shimmery light pink shadow, raisin mix with a mushroom soft brown shadow.

The only thing to remember is that to combine a lighter shadow. Using pencils in this case is really technically important since they are easier to make the blends required. Apply a liquid eyeliner is much more dramatic, but still if you use it then apply a pencil one after that to enhance the shape of your eyes. These are the tips that will work well for your brown eyes makeup.

They have such a wide color range from turqouise to chartreuse to forest green to bright light green and on and on.

These tips are designed for the magority of green eyes, but of course there are exceptions to every rule. My best advice is to try every color that you’re interested in. You’ll be surprised what looks good.

Choosing An Eyeshadow

These colors are some of the most popular for green eyes.

Try different browns, especially chocolate tones. Browns and dark greens with copper or gold highlights are also a great choice.

Apricots and taupes are good choices for highlighters.

Dark purples, plums and metallics work too. Coppers and golds will make a really glamorous evening look for makeup tips for green eyes. I personally really like the way deep purples look with dark green eyes.

Colors To Avoid

When you’re learning makeup tips for green eyes, it also helps to know what colors you might want to avoid.

First up, blues. Any color of blue doesn’t do green eyes justice. I would recommend avoiding light blues, dark blues and even some colors (purples or pinks) with blue undertones.

Pinks are also a hard color to judge. Some can look really, really good and others can look really, really bad. This is usually a matter of trial and error.

Silvers are not a good choice either. Leave them for the blue eyes.

Eyeliner Colors

Unless you really like black eyeliner, it’s usually a color to avoid. Try steely grays or chocolate browns. Use gold or white to open up the eye if your eyes are small.

The Rule Of Thumb

A good rule of thumb when choosing a color for makeup tips for green eyes is to focus on warm colors and avoid cool colors.

Like I said, there are exceptions to every rule, but this should provide a nearly fail-safe method for choosing eyeshadow colors to bring out the beauty of your green eyes.

The Application

How you apply your eyeshadow depends how many colors you’re wearing and what the occasion is.

For basic every day wear, here’s what you do.

1. Apply a highlighter like crystalline to the entire eye from the bottom of the crease to the eyebrow.

2. Use a taupe or apricot next and apply it to the whole eyelid and blend it just above the crease with the crystalline.

3. Then use your third color (chocolate brown, dark green, copper, etc.) and apply it one of two ways:

a. Apply it from the middle of your eyelid from the eyelash to just above the crease. Blend it well. You can even blend it under the lower lashes for a more dramatic look.

b. Apply it from the inner corner of your eyelid and sweep it out to the outer corner of your eye. It will get thicker the further out you go. Blend well.

4. Apply eyeliner and mascara as you normally would.

A lot of woman struggle when trying to apply makeup.

That is why eye makeup tips are offered in a variety of magazines. Finding the perfect eye makeup techniques may be a difficult task but don’t worry, there is a style for everyone!

For removing eye shadow, use special eye make up remover, and apply it delicately with circular moves.

The excess of make up remover must be cleaned with a cotton disk – starting from the inside corner towards the outside corner, without applying any pressure on it.

Mascara also removes with a cotton disk and a bit of make up remover. Just close your eyes and wipe your lids starting up.

Pre-moistened makeup remover pads keep things simple for you. They’re packaged in small jars and require absolutely no work on your part. Simply slide the pad over your eye. In a swipe or two, everything should be gone.

Cleaning milks are ideal for individuals with dry, sensitive skin. Milk-based eye makeup removers can be thick and creamy or thin and liquid-like. Choose the one that feels most soothing and removes makeup most effectively.

An eye makeup remover gel is usually thick, cool and comforting (though perhaps less so than milks). Oily-skinned individuals love gels in all forms; they’re great for removing makeup and soothing a slick face.

The pads or wipes is an eye makeup remover that is best from normal to dry skin. It is because these eye makeup removers are very neat and portable, which is perfect for traveling or if you are in a hurry.

Another type of eye makeup remover that you can use is the cream, which is best for sensitive and/or dry skin since it is normally strong enough in removing lipstick and foundation aside from the eye makeup. This type of makeup remover is even a great-time saver that leaves your skin moisturized and soft.

Cleansing water is a type of eye makeup remover that is best for oily or acne-prone skin. It is also a water-based eye makeup remover that is safe and perfect for those who prefer light products. However this type of eye makeup remover does not remove waterproof liquid eyeliner or mascara. It has the blending of cucumber to other plant-based emollients.

Always remove eye makeup thoroughly before going to bed. This will keep lashes healthier and prevent any mascara from getting into your eyes during the night. There are many readymade eye make up removers available in the market for this purpose. They come in several forms ranging from eye lotions to eye pads. While removing the mascara, avoid the color from going onto the delicate area below the bottom lashes.
