The trick is to learn which colors look better on blue eyes, and start with those, and then branch out with the colors that you are personally drawn to. Women have a unique ability to choose colors that are complimentary to them. Just because colors are suggested doesn’t mean those are the only colors suitable for you to wear.

Colors For Blue Eyes

There are some colors that seem to be made for blue eyes. Icy pinks, silver, gold and violet all come to mind. You can expand your selection by also choosing taupe, gray, and other purples, like lavender.

If you want to add a little “oomph” to your makeup, try a bright blue instead. I know, I know. You’ve always heard bad things about blue eyeshadow. However, these makeup tips for blue eyes include bright blue eyeshadow because it will make your eyes really stand out. Try it and see what you think.

Also try turquoise, and if your eyes have green in them, mint green is a great choice. Bright pinks and fuschia are great choices as well. And if you really want to mix it up, try mixing black with another color. It will look striking and it usually best for nightwear.

Application Tips

Now, I wouldn’t give you makeup tips for blue eyes without giving you tips to apply them. If you’re already comfortable with your application you don’t need to read on. But if you think you might like some guidelines to help you, keep reading.

Here’s an example of a day look that you could do:

1.Take a silver shadow and apply it from your eyelashes to your eyebrow.

2.Then apply lavender from your eyelashes to just above the crease. Blend it well into the silver so you can’t see a distinct line.

3.Then take violet and apply it in a “v” from the middle of your eyelid to the outer corner. Blend very, very well. You want it to look like a gradual change of color, not distinct lines.

4.Line your eyes with charcoal or dark gray eyeliner.

5.Apply mascara.

You can adjust the colors to be icy pink with fuschia, light and dark turquoise, gold and taupe, gray and bright blue, light blue and bright blue, silver and bright blue, taupe and green, etc. The list goes on and on.

Just play around until you like what you’re seeing. You make all the choices and decisions when it comes to your makeup.

Apply a base for the real make-up

Fond make the complexion

Eyes constitute an important part in the body. They are important in more ways than one. Eyes express what words fail to convey. Women want their eyes to be appealing and they have been using make up to accentuate the beauty of their eyes. It has been an age old practice. Here are some tips for eye makeup.

Before applying eye makeup, it is recommended that you use a concealer to screen the dark circles and wrinkles around your eyes. Ensure that the shade of the concealer is a bit lighter than your natural skin tone. Do not use it in excessive amounts. Apply the eye shadow in many thin layers.

Eye shadows are meant to highlight the beauty of the eyes. They are used to create depth to the eyes. If you use dark colors, your eyes may look smaller, while a lighter color will make them appear larger. If possible, use an eye brush to brush the shadow up. To highlight the eyes, add a lighter shade of the same color as the eye make up to your brow bone.

Too much of a shadow or liner will also make the eyes look smaller. While using a lighter color on the eyelid, use a darker color in the crease and a highlighter under the brow. This helps in creating illusions with eye shadows. If the eyes are small, don’t use too much shadow or liner ? it will make your eyes look even smaller.

For large eyes, wear darker shadow on the lid and extend it to the crease. Use a flat color to highlight under the brow. If the eyes are deep-set, use light colors under the skin and the brow and a medium color under the crease. Accentuate the outer corners of the eye with shadow. For wide-set eyes, use darker colors on the inner corners with shadow.

Take an eyeliner pencil and outline the top and bottom of your eyelids. Instead of a straight line, make short, small sized close dots with the eyeliner. Smudge the dots or the line lightly from the inner corners to the outer corners, for softer line. For the eyelashes, first use the eyelash separator comb. Then apply thin mascara. If you don’t have many lashes, apply the mascara individually and re-comb your lashes. Allow the lashes to dry and repeat the process.

Remove the eye makeup with a cotton ball or swab soaked in makeup remover. Otherwise, you may use makeup remover pads, which are also good. Be gentle and don’t rush. Be careful especially while removing mascara. You can gently rub the underside of the lashes until they come off completely.

Useful eye makeup tips:

* If your eyes are set too close to each other, put a dark shade like triangle acroos outer corners of the upper eyelid.

* If your eyes are placed too wide apart, add a blend of eye shadow across the inner halves of the upper eye lid towards the brow line. Add a slanting shadow on outer corners of the lower eyelid.

* Take a piece of cotton wool, dip it in solution of witch-hazel and use it as eye pads.

It is well known: eyes are the window of the soul. It seems our eye beauty is unadorned, but this is not always the case. Sometimes it is better to whitewash something and to make some accents. You know it is easy to guess a person age by wrinkled or bright skin around the eyes. Forbid seeing your real age! Accurate eye makeup can do wonders!

The eye makeup is the focal part of the rest of the other facial makeup. If do it in the correct way, the eye makeup is able to pull and attract people who are looking at you. There are limitless eye makeup tips available online that can help you with this but for the beginners in makeup, our simple easy-to-follow eye makeup tips can set you off in the right path in finding the best makeup style that suits your eyes and your whole personality.

As an added attraction many of us have that slightly slanting shape to our lids and the immediate area surrounding our eyes that enhances our female allure and mystery. Forget all those beauty pundits that are telling women what color eyeshadow or liner they should be using to accentuate this skin tone or that eye shape. Their prognostications are aimed at their own bottom line and that is their self-importance and keeping that profitable job in the media or PR without so much of a thought for any minorities.

Eyes occupy the most prominent place among the five sensory organs of our body. Large and beautiful eyes enhance one’s beauty manifold. Healthy eyes are directly related to general health. Use eye-make up very sparingly, for its excessive use damages the skin around eye. Also, remember never to use chemical eye-make-up-remover because it reacts adversely on the skin. Applying smoky eyes makeup can make you the most attractive and beautiful woman. It is a good choice for drawing attention, also.

For cats eyes, try a liquid eye liner on the upper lash line. Start with a thin line from the inner corner, but thicken the line dramatically from the center of the eye outwards and wing out. Draw the line thick and upwards at the outer corner of each eye.

Next, you will need to find the perfect eyeshadow colors for your eye color. If you have blue eyes, you need to get different shades of browns. If your eyes are green, you will need various shades of rusty browns, plum, and brownish red colors. If you have brown eyes, get all shades of purples, deep blues, and violets. For hazel colored eyes, get different shades of gold, greens, turquoises, browns, and pinks.

If you have brown eyes, and you are wondering about colors that may enhance or perfectly suit it, do not lose yourself in a wrinkle of frustration. Many of your favorite eyeshadow colors can actually match your pretty brown eyes. Basic hues such as earth colors in the browns, bronzes, golds, mochas, taupes and spices families will definitely enhance your features. But if you feel like wearing something to perk up your eyes with a contrasting effect, you may use light pink or peach or purple or indigo.
